Certolizumab Pegol, marketed under the brand name CIMZIA, It is an prescription medication that has been approved by the FDA in 2008 for adults with moderate to severe Crohn’s disease (not helped enough by usual treatments), CIMZIA was later approved to treat adults with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
